Becker
& Beggs, Ltd was formed in 1995 as the successor to
the two business brokerage companies owned by the principals.
Our firm is involved in all phases of business sales, mergers,
and joint ventures including:

In
nearly every transaction, either the seller or the buyer,
or both, are from our tri-state business community. The
focus is on firms having a value of $500,000 to $30,000,000.
Becker & Beggs, Ltd has represented a broad gamut of
businesses -- information technology/software, manufacturing,
distribution, construction, service, retail, and professional
-- and will work on any project that makes business sense.
We are members of the International Business Brokers Association,
Ohio Business Brokers Association, Greater Cincinnati Software
Association, Financial Executives Institute, and Institute
of Business Appraisers. |

Walter
Becker, CPA CDP - With over 36 years in various consulting,
planning, financial, and general management positions, Walt's
background covers the entire business landscape. Prior to
founding Prime Strategies in 1983, a financial consulting
firm, he was CFO of Central Bancorporation in Cincinnati
and Central Fidelity Bank in Virginia, and was President
of a computer services firm. Previously, he managed the
business consulting department of Ernst & Young in Baltimore.
He has been in business brokerage in Cincinnati since 1984. |

James
Beggs - After an early career in sales and marketing
for Alcoa and Burlington Industries, Jim focused on business
financing. From the early 70’s through 1992, he was involved
in secured lending, financing small and mid-sized firms
in this region. During that period he developed an expertise
in tax leveraged leasing and direct ownership investments.
In 1992 he formed Van Gaard & Company, concentrating
on business brokerage and valuations. |

Greg Bell Greg has 25
years experience as a general manager, strategic project planner,
systems engineer, and M&A executive completing over $250 million in
purchase and sale transactions in his career. In 2000 he founded
KCB Capital Partners, an investment and consulting firm involved in
strategic planning and analysis. From 1982 to 1999, he held
product development, manufacturing, general management and M&A positions
at Xerox, Ford, and Milacron. Originally trained as a mechanical
engineer with a Bachelor's degree from Cornell and a Masters from
Rochester Institute of Technology, Greg added an MBA in strategic
planning and marketing from the University of Michigan.

Craig Auberger With
extensive experience in real estate construction and appraisal, Craig
was president of the American Association of Certified Appraisers and
was an officer/trustee to the Appraisal Foundation in Washington, DC.
In the 80's he became general manager of a city-wide realtor with six
offices and 200+ agents while also heading up its commercial/industrial
division. A UC graduate, Craig spent the first twelve years of his
career in residential and commercial construction. A life-long
fitness advocate, he teaches martial arts..
